Kickball.

Ahhh.

First, I'll start by saying that I used to be athletic. Really athletic. I hadn't participated in any real sports since high school (unless you consider intramurals "real"), so I was itching for something to get into.

Morale Coach

Last year, my bff Tina (Turner) asked me to be on his kickball team. I was pumped. Turns out, I'm not very good at kickball, but I have a dang good time trying to play. We are the Arkantards of the Intermediate League of the Little Rock Kickball Association. The LRKA has 102 teams in four leagues and is responsible for complete debauchery for more than 1,000 Rocktowners every Sunday. 

Yesterday was our 3rd game. We lost 3-2. But it was a beautiful, Spring day in Little Rock.

My teammate, Joe, and I rocked out at the field until 8:30 p.m. when the sun started to go down. Monday has not been pretty so far. Totally worth it.
